I The invitation

We’ve taken a villa in the Tuscan hills for the back half of summer — five weeks of long lunches, warm evenings, and a pool that never quite empties of children. We’d love for you to come and share some of it with us.

Come for a few days or a whole week, early in the stay or right at the very end — whenever suits your summer. There’s always a room made up, a place at the table, and a cold bottle waiting in the shade.

It’ll be the five of us for the duration: me and Delia, with Leo, Alex & Oli running the grounds. Pick your days below, tell us you’re coming, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Con affetto,
Björn & Delia

II The villa

Villa Barilli

A restored country house above Empoli, wrapped in olive groves and vineyards, with a swimming pool set among the cypresses and a long pergola made for dinners that run late. Inside: cool tiled floors, five generous bedrooms, and terraces that catch the evening light.

III When

A long, open window.

Thirty-odd days in the hills. Come for any stretch of them — a long weekend, a slow week, or the whole golden tail of the summer.
